DVD Download Disc
• DVD Specifications for DVD Download Disc for Dual Layer (DVD Download for DL) Part 1 Physical Specifications version 1.9 was created after a Round Robin Test • A few items are marked as “tentative” – Recording power for each recording speed – Reflectivity of a disc (18% to 36%) – Push-pull tracking error signal (PPb) related specifications • It is expected that version 2.0 (licensable version) is approved in August after solving these issues

China HD DVD
• The OMNERC (Optical Memory National Engineering Research Center) requested the DVD Forum to assign the reserved bit of PES_scrambling_control for China DRM in the China HD DVD specification, which is licensed to the CHDA (China High Definition DVD Industry Association) to be used as a basis of the CBHD (China Blue High-Definition Disc) format • The request was approved to be included in a Supplemental Information
