The Academy of Law and Government: Prepares students for careers in the areas of government and public service. It is designed to teach students the skills necessary for careers in law enforcement, criminal justice and other public service fields. Career Cluster: Government, Public Admin & Law

Horticultural, Environmental and Marine Science Academy: Prepares students to preserve and protect the earth by working in fields related to horticultural and environmental services. Through internships students are involved in ecologically significant projects such as water quality testing, marine life sampling, wildlife gardening, invasive species eradication and monitoring of mosquito control techniques. Communications and Arts in Performance Academy: inspires student’s creativity and artistry in communications and performing arts through hands on training in television production, theatre arts and communications. Career Cluster: Arts, A/V, Comm. & Tech

The Academy of Communication and Multi-Media Technology: Offers a comprehensive program for students interested in graphic design, television productions, web design and networking support and systems. Career Cluster: Information Technology

The Academy of Design and Manufacturing Technology: For students who have career interests in architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, drafting, electronics and interior design. Students have an opportunity to work with computer-numerically-controlled machines, robotics and electronics. Career Cluster: Engineering & Technology Education

Academy of Hospitality and Culinary Arts: Prepare student in a career in hospitality and tourism after high school. Career Cluster: Hospitality & Tourism

The Academy of Science and Medicine: Is a program for students with career interest in high level science and mathematics. Allows students to explore a broad range of scientific themes including health and medical, engineering and environmental issues. Career Cluster: Health & Human Services

The Sports Science & Marketing: Provides learning experiences in the fields of athletic training, sports administration and wellness/fitness. Students have the opportunity to work with existing athletic teams, the faculty and staff wellness program and the athletic department to gain hands on sport science experience. Academy of Simulation and Robotic Technology: Offers rigorous coursed in math and computer science to prepare students for elite careers in the fields of digital engineering with emphasis on gaming simulation, applied robotics and artificial intelligence. Career Cluster: Information Technology NEW SMYRNA BEACH HIGH SCHOOL Academy of Agriscience: Prepares students for careers in agriculture, horticulture, veterinary assisting or marine resources. The Medical Academy: Prepares students for careers in the health and human services industry. The Academy of Finance: Exposes students to the financial industry. Students acquire the analytical, mathematical and verbal skills needed for careers or post secondary education in financial accounting, financial consulting, financial investing and entrepreneurship. International Baccalaureate (IB) – Offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for qualified students in grades 11 and 12. The strong pre-IB curriculum in grades 9 and 10 provides broad based liberal arts exposure which improves student success in IB courses. 8th grade requirement is Algebra I. Career Clusters
