NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING To be held by Romney Energy Centre Limited Partnership regarding a Proposal to Engage in a Renewable Energy Project

Project Name: Romney Wind Energy Centre IESO Contract Number: L-006356-WIN-001-060 Project Location: The proposed Romney Wind Energy Centre will be located on private and public lands in the Town of Lakeshore, County of Essex, south of the Highway 401, and extending along Richardson Side Road and Wheatley Road near the community of Wheatley, Chatham-Kent, . Romney Energy Centre Limited Partnership, a partnership between EDF EN Canada and Amjiwnaang First Nation, is planning to engage in a renewable energy project in respect of which the issuance of a renewable energy approval is required. The proposal to engage in the project and the project itself are subject to the provisions of the Environmental Protection Act (the “Act”) Part V.0.1 and Ontario Regulation 359/09. This notice must be distributed in accordance with Section 15 of the Regulation prior to an application being submitted and assessed for completeness by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change. Meeting Location: Romney Energy Centre Limited Partnership is hosting a second Public Meeting to give stakeholders and Aboriginal communities an opportunity to provide input on the draft reports, speak with the Project team, learn more about the proposed Project, and provide comments and questions regarding the draft REA documents and the Project. DATE: 7 June 2017 TIME: Open to the public between 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM PLACE: Tilbury Arena Ryder Hall, 55 Bond Ave, Tilbury, ON, N0P 2L0 Project Description: Pursuant to the Act and Regulation, the facility, in respect of which this project is to be engaged in, is a Class 4 Wind Facility. If approved, this facility would have a total maximum name plate capacity of up to 60 MW. The project location is described in the map below. Documents for Public Inspection: The Draft Project Description Report titled Romney Wind Energy Centre Project Description Report describes the project as Class 4 Wind Facility. A written copy of the Draft Project Description Report was made available for public inspection on 27 September 2016 at municipal offices of Chatham-Kent (315 King Street West, Chatham, ON, N7M 5K8), County of Essex (360 Fairview Ave. West, Essex, ON), Town of Lakeshore (419 Notre Dame Street, Belle River, ON) and online on the project’s website: http://www.edf-en.ca/project/romney-wind-energy-centre/ Further, the applicant has obtained or prepared, as the case may be, the following supporting documents in order to comply with the requirements of the Act and Regulation. Written copies of the draft supporting documents will be made available for public inspection on 6 April 2017 at municipal offices of Chatham-Kent (315 King Street West, Chatham, ON, N7M 5K8), County of Essex (360 Fairview Ave. West, Essex, ON), Town of Lakeshore (419 Notre Dame Street, Belle River, ON) and online on the project’s website: http://www.edf-en.ca/project/romney-wind-energy-centre/.
