I am so happy to be receiving Facebook, guestbook, and email messages from you commenting on my articles each month. I love to hear from you! You inspire me to write my article each month, so please continue to send in your comments, ideas, and prayer requests to me on my website or professional Facebook. The highest amount of messages I have received thus far has been April’s article about my favorite uplifting television shows, Duck Dynasty & The Bible. I was triumphant in my conquest to get Ms. Julia Goins (my dear friend and co-owner of the Christian Voice Magazine) to watch Duck Dynasty! ☺ I think that I have inspired another devoted Duck Dynasty fan! This month, I wanted to talk about game plans. We all have them, yet they often change to adapt to social or spiritual challenges. While the plan may change, it is important to have structure in what you wish to accomplish in life. My mom has always been a planner. In studying genetic biology this semester, I’m amazed at how genes can make an individual unique, yet DNA carries traits from both the mother and father to the next generation. Therefore, the original information is never lost, but is simply modified. I wish that I would have inherited the planning trait from my mom. However, while it does not come naturally to me, I put forth the effort to apply this trait in my life because of her influence. Did you know that your environment can influence your life as much, if not more than your genes? Game plans come from your individual goals. Your goals may come from your talents. Those talents or traits are carried in your genes. The Creator gave you the genetic makeup to make you amazing in who you are. Game plans change due to environment. Outside forces can hinder or help you in your quest to your goal. It is important that we keep our focus on the end result. While the journey may be different than the original plan, attaining your goal is what really matters. May the ultimate goal in your life be pleasing and honoring God with your actions, words, and goals. If God Almighty has a game plan, then so should we! What a joy to know that His game plan includes us! “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. Our society as a whole has decided that sex outside of marriage is a right, even if performed by two people of the same sex. Now they even want that right to be called “A MARRIAGE”.
