1. Guided tour in the Old Town Royal Castle from outside, St. John‘s cathedral, mermaid‘s monument, house of birth of Madame Curie, medieval defence walls, Monument to the Warsaw Uprising and Supreme Court. This place mainly narrates a fascinating story of world‘s first and largest reconstruction, which took place following total WW II destruction.

2. Visit to the Museum of Warsaw Museum of Warsaw is located right in the heart of Old Town of Warsaw. It gives you a see-through of centuries of history, which helps understanding culture, current architecture and spirit of Warsaw.

The Royal Route Most beautiful avenue of Warsaw filled with many monuments (i.e. Nicolas Copernicus), landmarks such as Presidential Palace, Chopin benches playing fragments of his compositions and marking places connected to his life in Warsaw, reproductions of Canaletto paintings, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, place of burial of Chopin’s heart, and many more.

5. Walk through Lazienki Royal Park Former royal summer residence, surrounded by the largest and the most popular park in Warsaw with beautiful XVIIIth century architecture (esp. Palace on the Isle) Chopin‘s monument, Myślewicki Palace, we will hear stories of espionage, great escapes and political affairs. Day 2 – Zelazowa Wola and Warsaw Thursday, 26th Sep 2019 or Saturday, 28th Sep 2019 09:00 am – 17:00 pm

1. Palace of Culture and Science One on the most iconic landmarks in Warsaw, built in 1955 and yet the tallest building in Warsaw. We will briefly get to know its history and visit a viewing terrace on the 30th floor.

2. Zelazowa Wola A village located in the countryside, place of birth of Frederic Chopin which is today very active centre of music and culture.

4. Visit to former Jewish Ghetto Quick tour in the heart of former Jewish quarter. Part of history of Warsaw which needs to be told to any first time visitors. There will be an option of individual visit to the Museum of Polish Jewsright after this tour or you can follow to the last attraction with the rest of the group. (Please let us know about your preference while booking your tour.)

5. Museum of Polish Vodka This tour might surprise you on many levels, you will learn about origins of vodka, how production process was changing throughout centuries and how to drink it right way, which you will have opportunity to practise at a little tasting at the end of your tour.

6. The end of the tour Regardless of your choice of last attraction you will be picked up from the venue you visited and we will return to Headquarters of TRUMPF Huettinger. Sightseeing We offer sightseeing tours for accompanying persons on September 25th – 26th, 2019, organized by our partner travel agency. On request we offer sightseeing tours for conference participants after the end of the conference (September 27th – 28th, 2019).
