• Wisconsin used a balanced attack to take down Boston College, 5-3, on Saturday to end the Country Classic with a perfect 2-0 record. • The Badgers stormed the ice in the first period taking a three-goal lead from under the Eagles as Sophie Shirley's shot was deflected into the Eagles' net. • Britta Curl snagged the puck out the air just two minutes later to snipe a goal passed BC’s goaltender from the corner. • With a good screen and 1:18 left in the first,Abby Roque placed a perfect top right shelf power-play goal off an assist by Shirley. • The Badgers let two goals sneak passed them in the second leaving the period to the Eagles but not for long. • Delaney Drake came back in the third to post her first goal of the season from the left off a pass by Presley Norby with just 8:42 left in the game. • Boston College followed with a power-play goal three minutes later before pulling their goaltender to leave room for Watts to steal an extra empty netter with just six seconds to go. • Kristen Campbell stopped 23 shots on goal to give the Badgers their second win in the Music City.
