Home to sports such as basketball, volleyball, and fencing, the facility is ideal for large-scale events such as concerts, conferences, graduations, and exhibitions. TAFFNER FIELD HOUSE This 43,000-square-foot facility serves as the recreation space for our students. It boasts two full-size basketball or volleyball courts with adjacent locker rooms. TENNIS COURTS The Courts at St. John’s serve as home to our tennis teams, and offer five lighted tennis courts. RED STORM FIELD Red Storm Field is home to St. John’s University’s softball team. The lighted facility includes seating for 250, a scoreboard, and a public address system. GYMNASIUM AT STATEN ISLAND CAMPUS The gymnasium is located within the Campus Center and is ideal for athletic games and practices, as well as events for up to 1,100 guests. 5 PROGRAM AND MEETING SPACES t. John’s University has several indoor and outdoor multiple purpose program spaces Swhich are ideal for banquets, conferences, lectures, and receptions. In addition, we have more than 200 classrooms available for reservation throughout the year. THE D’ANGELO CENTER MULTIPURPOSE ROOM This 4,395-sq.-ft. space has a capacity of 350+ people and is perfect for conferences. The main room can be divided into three individual rooms. A dance floor and stage can also be utilized. A prefunction area overlooks the New York City skyline. ST. LOUISE DE MARILLAC HALL AUDITORIUM The 4,150-sq.-ft. auditorium has an occupancy limit of 565 people and is ideal for a concert or conference. ST. LOUISE DE MARILLAC HALL TERRACE This multipurpose facility can be divided into two meeting spaces or remain one large facility. The large facility has a seating capacity for 492 people at 6,256 sq. feet. 6 MEETING FACILITIES AND CLASSROOMS THE LITTLE THEATRE This 3,575-sq.-ft. theater space recently underwent a full technology upgrade to include theatrical lighting and sound. It includes seating capacity for 400 people and a large dressing room. UNIVERSITY CENTER, SUITE D This 1,508-sq.-ft. facility has capacity for 70+ guests with A/V capabilities, including video conferencing. FACULTY CLUB Traditionally servicing on-campus faculty dining needs, this private dining area has seating capacity for 64 people at 1,765 sq. ft. with full audio and visual equipment, and serves as a perfect room for your reception or bridal/baby shower. THE PETER J. TOBIN COLLEGE OF BUSINESS MULTIPURPOSE ROOM This newly constructed multipurpose room has a seating capacity of 275 people. ST. ALBERT HALL AUDITORIUM This newly renovated, 4,000-sq.-ft. auditorium facility includes tiered seating for 275 guests. KIERNAN SUITE AT STATEN ISLAND CAMPUS This premiere meeting facility offers seating for 120 with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River. MULTIPURPOSE ROOM AT MANHATTAN CAMPUS This 1,725-sq.-ft., lobby-level meeting facility with floor- to-ceiling windows offers seating for up to 130 guests. 7 DINING AND CATERING t. John’s University, in partnership with Chartwells, offers a variety of fresh dining Soptions, including an extensive menu and an all-you-care-to-eat meal plan option. Catering options range from a simple afternoon sweets break or cocktail hour with passed hors d’oeuvres, to an extensive china-plated dinner menu with prime choice selections. For a more upscale setting, Dining Services has its own Faculty Club, which opens for lunch and for private receptions, showers, and events. 8 DINING AND CATERING n addition, Chartwells Higher Education has nine other strategically located dining spots throughout campus Iwith more than 20 separate concepts and destinations. Temporary parking permits may be obtained through the Office of Public Safety or Guest Services at no charge. WI–FI ACCESS is readily available throughout campus at no cost. AUDIO AND VISUAL TECHNOLOGY All of our program and classroom facilities are equipped with state-of-the- art technology, and our personnel are readily available to assist with your on-site needs. ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS The English Language Institute provides English as a Second Language courses for students at all proficiency levels. Courses can be designed for teens, college students, or adults, and can be customized to meet the needs and interests of any group. NYC CAMP PERMIT HOLDER The health and safety of our minor guests are our top priority; St. John’s Summer Program secures a New York City Department of Health Youth Camp permit (Campus number: 50009434). Our camp program provides an infirmary and first aid qualified personnel during your camp program. 10 SPECIAL SERVICES LINEN SERVICE Linen packs are available for rental to our summer conference guests and include a blanket, pillow, bath towel, washcloth, flat sheet, fitted sheet, and pillowcase. LAUNDRY Each residential building houses laundry facilities for use free of charge. CLEANING SERVICE Cleaning of suite common areas and bathrooms can be made available to summer conference guests. WATER REFILL STATIONS In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, each of our residential buildings offers a water bottle refill station dispensing filtered water at your leisure. ACCED-I ONE-STOP SHOP CERTIFICATION The Office of Conference Services at St. John’s University has achieved One-Stop Shop Certification
