Archery New Zealand 2017 Youth National Championships 30 September – 5 October

It gives me great pleaure to extend this invitation to all Youth Archers (both local and international), to enter the New Zealand 2017 Youth National Championships in Rotorua. We would like to see as many young archers as possible at this tournament.

Youth events are designed to accommodate young archers, with distances appropriate to their age and skill levels. Come and have a go at all the events: field, clout, target and match play. Enjoy the fun, friendship and competition that events like this foster.

The Target Championships will be decided on the combined results of a single WA 1440 round and a WA 72 arrow round. Individual and team match play events will also be held. This will be hosted by the Rotorua Archery Club, at Puarenga Park in Rotorua.

The Field Championships will be decided on a marked twenty four (two x twelve) target round and an unmarked twenty four target 3D round. This will be hosted by the Lakeview Archery Club. They are located at 265 Horahora Road, Tirau. This is approximately fifty minutes’ drive north of Rotorua, on State Highway One.

These National Championships are a World Archery Registered Event, and the Archery New Zealand dress code will apply. Please refer to the information section on uniforms in the pages that follow.

Please encourage your archery friends and your supporters to join you at the 2017 Archery New Zealand Youth National Championships.

Yours sincerely

Gary Lees President, Rotorua Archery Club Inc, on behalf of Archery New Zealand
