Alexandria Institute offers accelerated group courses in Ancient and culture in Athens at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. Classes can spread into one, two, four or more weeks and start on the first and third Monday of every month. Our passion for Greek language and expertise in teaching Ancient Greek have armed us with the appropriate tools, helping turn every session into an educative, interesting, and engaging experience. Boasting an unequaled historical heritage, the city of Athens is ideal for hosting the Institute’s educational and cultural events. We primarily aim at identifying each student’s special needs, preferences, and interests so as to tailor-cut the courses accordingly. A selection of carefully edited texts intends to familiarize you with vocabulary, grammar and syntax as well as the fundamentals of ancient Greek civilization. In addition to the teaching sessions, the course also draws attention to a cultural aspect through a vast array of edifying activities directed at rendering the students’ visit to Athens a thorough educational and cultural experience. Whether your free time is limited to two weeks or you can make more, Alexandria Institute can come up with the schedule that is suitable to your needs and capabilities.

Courses info Classes begin on the first and third Monday of every month, Monday through Friday, starting at 10:15 am. On national holidays, make-up hours will be added to the remaining days. Alexandria Institute reserves the right to modify the schedule as well as arrange some afternoon/evening courses in case tutors or rooms are unavailable.
