Our meetings usually begin with a bring-your-own- lunch session during which members can be found eating and moving about from table to table to see the latest creations. Our business meetings begin with a knitting joke

January 2019 and are followed by reports from both the Secretary and Treasurer. Committee members share progress. Our Trip Coordinator updates us on plans for at least one trip a year for the group. Sometimes, the trips are overnight. We also

K2TOG have a good turnout for Vogue Live! in New York City, with some members taking classes while others just shop the

marketplace. Local and not-so-local events are mentioned so that the knitters can plan well ahead of time for trips to these venues. Updates for Charity Knitting are also

shared at this time. New business rounds out that session of the meeting. Our Programming Chairperson then introduces our guest and the program begins. There is always time for Show and Tell at the end when one of our veteran members moves from table to table with a microphone so that the members can get all the details about each of the projects being presented. The camaraderie among members is very evident when the meeting comes to an end; no one wants to leave! There is usually an informal knit-in for a short time and then off we go!
