I've lived in Lostwithiel since 1998 when I bought my first property. I moved into Treganatha in 2003 and 2004 following a complete renovation.

Lostwithiel is a lovely small town with all local amenities and the added benefit of the main train line. The national express bus also goes through.

We aren't far from , and the nearest beaches are ten minutes away at , Fowey, Par etc.

Wadebridge twenty to thirty minutes away depends on the time of year and traffic, and is thirty minutes. is also fifteen to twenty minutes. Exeter is one hour away and thirty-five minutes.

Shopping wise there is a Sainsbury's in along with Asda, Morrisons and Lidl. Waitrose is at and in Truro. There are plenty of other shops around, and Lostwithiel has a Co-op, butchers, clothes shop, hairdressers, barbers, newsagents and restaurants and pubs etc.

I chose Treganatha years ago because it is a beautiful family home. I didn't want to be isolated in the country. I wanted to be on the edge of a bustling little town. I also wanted a view and the feel of being in the countryside and not too much land. Treganatha offers me all of that. She sits centrally in her grounds and isn't overlooked by anyone. There is ample parking in the front and a generous large slate terrace out the back with steps down to a manageable south facing lawn. The garden is stocked with Magnolias, rhododendrons, camellias, agapanthus and many other beautiful plants. Treganatha is lovely and quiet, and until you visit her, you don't realise just how peaceful it is.

Inside Treganatha retains all of her original features including the stain glass panel in the front inner door and the solid mahogany fireplace which is in Truro county records having been designed by Silvanus Trevail. All the fireplaces are original, the music room and the dining room use wood and coal, the lounge is a mains gas fire. Treganatha has a sense of history about her and a feeling of belonging.

Great for parties and Christmas, Halloween and any other parties you might have. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot right on the edge of a lovely town and only a five-minute walk into the centre. Lostwithiel is an ideal location for being convenient to all of Cornwall. You can drive to either coast easily, and access to the main A30 is a ten-minute drive. It's a favourite spot to visit, and air b&b appear to be most successful with Eden on our doorstep and plenty of tourist places to visit. If you have children, then it's ideal for all the schools and transport.

I love my home, but now my children have left it is now time for me to move on. Treganatha has been a lovely warm family home over the years, and I will miss her terribly.
