Many businesses have suffered severe disruption and revitalise the town centre, making it an attractive and enjoyable to the extent that some have had to close their doors completely. Our place, and with that, rebuild and strengthen the morale of our task continues to be, in collaboration and cooperation with private land community. and property owners as well as business operators, to not only to repair and rebuild the town centre, but to make it even better than before for This Plan presents an opportunity to do things differently, to be bold shopping and visiting. and to move into the future with renewed confi dence. The Kaiapoi Community Board has been involved in the development of this Kaiapoi town centre faced a number of key issues prior to the Plan each step of the way and believes it provides a sound tool for September 2010 earthquake. This Plan seeks to address these and some very positive changes. take advantage of opportunities in a planned way. We will continue to face signifi cant challenges ahead, including confi rming the approach for land remediation required within the commercial area. This will
