Rookie of the Week Ty Son Lawton | RB | Stony Brook Lawton rushed for a team-high 121 yards and a touch- down on 25 carries in Stony Brook’s 36-35 victory at No. 5 Villanova. It was the third consecu ve 100-yard eff ort for Lawton and came against a VU defense that was allowing just 99.4 ypg on the ground. He had a 10-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter and broke loose for a key 47-yard run late in the 4th period that set up another TD.
