Entertainment Show Host/Hostess

Ever wonder how shows come together? Are you interested in theatre, dance, or music? The Entertainment department is looking for outgoing, friendly individuals interested in working in and around theatre, dance, and music. We provide a unique opportunity to work around professionals through the industry during a fun-filled summer, packed with employee parties and special events!

Job Functions:

 Welcome each guest into the venue in a friendly and enthusiastic manner  Maintain a safe and clean environment for our guests by cleaning venues between shows  Be an informed resource on Park information  Assist guests to appropriate seating areas  Maintain the record of accurate show counts for each show  Learn operational standards for the Entertainment Department at Hersheypark  Assist with our character program by becoming a guide and ensuring guests make lasting memories

Basic Qualifications:

 Must be at least 14 years or older on the date of applying

Foods Team Member

Job Functions:

 Greeting guests and taking Food & Beverage orders while communicating with other team members within the employee’s scheduled location  Preparing and serving Food & Beverage items to guests  Ringing orders into a cash register/money bag and making sure guests receive proper change  Cleaning, sanitizing, and sweeping/mopping work areas, to include; food prep areas, other food contact surfaces, patio/condiment areas, and floors/walkways  Storing and rotating stock and food items within assigned work locations  Performing opening and closing procedures related to the assigned Food & Beverage location and as directed by shift supervisors  Other job related responsibilities as assigned including other Hershey Entertainment Complex locations such as ZooAmerica, , , and Hershey Theatre

Working Conditions:

 Must be able to work at least two (2) weekends per month during April, May, June, July and August  Must be able to work at least three (3) shifts per week (at least 24 hours per week): Additional shifts / hours up to 5 days, 40 hours per week may be available  Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes shift times starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 8:30pm  Additional hours may be available during September, October, November, and December  Physical requirements include standing (for periods up to 5 hours at a time), walking, bending and lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance  Regular outside work in various weather conditions is required (including extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and other inclement weather)  Employee must provide proper footwear (all black, non skid/non slip sneaker)

Retail Opening Team Member

The Hersheypark Retail Department is the perfect place to start your first job! No experience is necessary because we will train you on how to succeed in your new role. While working in Retail, team members will develop valuable skills that can be used in everyday life and in future careers. The Retail Opening Team Member is an entry level position that allows employees to get hands on experience in customer service, organizing, cleaning, and stocking. In this position, team members will learn selling techniques and how to increase sales by advertising our promotions. The Retail Opening Team Member will play a key role in helping meet departmental goals and providing guests with the optimal shopping experience.

 Gain valuable customer service skills by greeting and interacting with guests as they enter the location.  Learn how to sell merchandise to guests and inform guests of promotions.  Get hands on experience interacting with guests by assisting them with their purchases.  Learn cash handling skills by operating registers.  Be taught how to hang or fold apparel by size and keep all styles fully stocked.  Develop organizational skills by stocking all merchandise on sales floor.  Maintain cleanliness throughout the store.

Wardrobe Clerk

This part-time seasonal position is responsible for handling laundry duties and fittings, cleaning, covering the Wardrobe counter within the Wardrobe Department and providing a positive customer service experience to our guests.

Job Functions:

 Fit employees for departmental uniforms and complete associated paperwork.  Complete daily tasks and/or modification to uniform apparel to include, but not limited to, preparing clothing for return to back stock.  Responsible for the daily issuance and collection of uniform apparel, maintaining appropriate supply of items, and monitoring for necessary repairs.  Responsible for the daily sorting, washing, drying, folding and hanging of all clothing and linens processed by the Wardrobe Department.  Ensure the cleanliness of all Wardrobe areas, including the locker rooms.
