Next meeting is scheduled for December 4, 2017. We will be meeting at our usual location at Patience Latting Library at 122nd and MacArthur. This will be our Christmas Party and installation of new officers. There will be music and food and Lexi Patchen, granddaughter of Sara Jo Odom, will sing the Star Spangled Banner and lead us in Christmas Carols.
The fun starts at 9:30 am registration and 10:00 am meeting.

Any local club member who invites a guest to a local club or OFRW meeting resulting in that guest’s joining a local club, is eligible for the drawing for the One + One Prize, as is the new member. The drawing for the grand prize will be held at the Nov. 2017 OFRW Convention. You do not need to be present to win.

Thankful many of our troops have come home from their Middle East assignments, but those that are still there need our continuing support. Since our club began supporting the Hugs Project in 2013 our members have generously donated to be used to help pay postage for the packages that are sent year-round to our military guys and gals. OCTOBER 2, 2017. The Membership Tea was held at the Phillips Pavilion at the Governor’s Mansion. We were honored to have Governor Fallin speak. Many thanks to the members that spoke on activities of the club and to Brenda Hall for all her work on the tea.
Those bringing in new members for 2018 will be recognized each month in the 1+1 Membership Program, and will be eligible for drawings for prizes for each new member.
