DISSOLUTION OF THE OF ROSENHEIM, No. 361, AND THE LANDS ADDED TO THE MUNICIPAL DIS- TRICT OF SIFTON, No. 391, AND THE NEUTRAL HILLS SPECIAL AREA, RESPECTIVELY. , Wednesday, September 4, 1940 Whereas the affairs of the Municipal District of Rosenheim, No 361, have been under the management of an Official Administrator for some considerable- time; and Whereas it has now become apparent that it would be in the best interests of all concerned if the said Municipal District were dis- organized; Therefore, His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the Executive Council, has to order (pursuant to ict Act, being Chapter in that behalf), that the aforesaid Municipal District of Rosenhe 361, be, and is hereby declared to h lie within the boundaries of the said Municipal District shall be dealt with in. the following manner: By adding 38, Ranges 1, 2 and 3, West of &heFourth Meridian, to the Municipal District of Sifton, No. 391; and By adding the remaining area of the said Municipal District of Rosenheim, No. 361, to the Neutral Hills Special Area; the lands in question being situated in 36 and 37, Ranges 1, 2 and 3, west of the Fourth Meridian. Further, that the unpaid taxes and other charges standing against the lands in question shall be collectable by the Council of the Municipal District of Sifton, No. 391, on the one hand and the Special Areas Board on the other hand. Further, that, in accordance with the aforesaid Section 19 of The Municipal District Act, James Murray Heaton, be, and he is hereby ap- pointed to adjust and settle the assets and liabilities of the dissolved Municipal District. 749 THE GAZETTE SEPTEMBER 14 1940

THE LLOYDM CIPA N ACT, 1930

THE CHARTER OF THE OF , AMENDED AS IN SCHEDULE HERETO Edmonton, Wednesday, September 4, 1940. Whereas (pursuant to the provisions of The Lloydminster Municipal Amalgamation Act, being Chapter 54 of the Statutues of Alberta, 1930, and of Order in Council numbered 649-30, dated May 21, 1930), the Charter of the Town of Lloydminster (prepared pursuant to Section 5 of the said Act), was approved and made operative as of, and from, the 22nd day of May, 1930; and thereupon became applicable to the composite area mentioned in the said Act; and Whereas Section 579 of the said Charter provides that the same may at any time be amended by complementary orders in council; and Whereas the council elected to govern the composite area has by 1st day of April, 1940, requested that the manner set out in the Schedule hereto, same effect as the amendments made to

Whereas it is convenient and expedient that the said Charter mended accordingly;

THE KING’S PRINTER ACT, 1922

REGULATIONS GOVERVING THE OFFICE AND DUTIES OF THE KING’S PRINTER, ADOPTED; ORDER IN COUNCIL NUMBERED 78-06, RESCINDED Edmonton, Tuesday, October 15, 1940. His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to order (pursuant to the provisions of The King’s Printer Act, being Chapter 19 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1922)) that the attached Regulations governing the office and duties of the King’s Printer, as set forth in the annexed Schedule, be, and are hereby adopted. Further, that Order in Council numbered 78-06, respecting the adoption of certain Regulations, be, and is hereby rescinded.

REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE OFFICE AND DUTIES OF THE KING‘S PRINTER 1. The Provincial Treasurer of the Province of Alberta shall be the Minister having control and direction of the King’s Printer. 2. The King’s Printer shall cause an issue of The Abberta Gazette to be published twice each month-the First issue on the Fifteenth and the Second on the last days of each month, except when those days are legal holidays and then on the next preceding lawful day. 3. With each issue of the said Gazette shall be printed a Supple.ment containing such notices as are prescribed by The Herd Ordinance, The Pound District Ordinance, The Estray Animals Ordinance and The Entire Animals Ordinance, and any other notices, whether of similar nature or not, that may be directed to be printed in the said Supplement by the Minister. 911
