Nous avons eu le privi- édito lège d’aller quatre fois à votre rencontre les deux derniers mois que cela soit sur des salons BD ou des salons jeux vidéo ou encore des salons tout entier déclinés aux couleurs du jeu sous toutes ces formes ! Nous avons également pu ameuter les foules lors du Batman Day et plus récemment avoir l’immense privilège de recevoir Cafu (ESP) et Joshua Dysart (USA) pour une séance de dédicaces d’anthologie. Bref nous n’avons pas, et vous n’en disconviendrez pas, chômé ! Et la série continue puisque le magasin sera ouvert en décembre du 05 au 24…… tous les jours !Youpiiiii ! BY LEON LAZAROFF Netflix Inc. (NFLX) has made its first-ever acquisition. The world’s largest video streaming service on Monday, Aug. 7, said it has acquired Millarworld, a producer of graphic novels and comics featuring characters such as the Kingsman, Old Man Logan and Kick-Ass. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Matt Syrkin and Ken Lefkowitz of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and Addleshaw Goddard LLP provided legal counsel to Millarworld. Netflix shares on Monday morning were up 0.1% to $180.47. The end goal, of course, is to transfer Millarworld’s characters onto the small and large screen, or as Netflix said in its statement, to “bring Millarworld’s portfolio of critically and fan-acclaimed character franchises to life through films, series and kids’ shows available exclusively to Netflix members globally.” Millarworld’s ‘Old Man Logan’ In his own post, Millar hinted a deal had been in the works for months. the third time that a comic maker has been acquired by a major media company. The Kingsman collection is luxury tailoring and casual wear at its best, inspired by the manufacturing tradition of Savile Row and collaborated on with specialist British heritage brands.
