May 2000 Structured, negotiated and drafted documentation for mergers and to acquisitions including asset purchases, stock purchases, and statutory Feb. 2001 mergers. Represented Fubon Group in Citigroup's acquisition of 15% equity stake in five Fubon Group companies and Fubon's acquisition of two of Citigroup's Taiwan businesses. Advised clients on Taiwan inbound and outbound investment.

Aug. 1998 Acted as lead attorney in various transactions including major stock to purchases, strategic alliances, manufacturing contracts, etc. Prepared legal Apr. 2000 opinions and conducted relevant research on various issues of Taiwan, PRC, and US law including international trade, corporate law, fair trade law, intellectual property law, arbitration, labor law, etc. Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated various documents and agreements, including license agreements, employment agreements, sales agreements, confidentiality agreements, merger agreements, lease agreements, share purchase agreements, etc. Provided litigation support for local attorneys.
