Overview This is an unusual hiking tour. During a 2 days' hiking tour, you will have a unique wild Great Wall hiking experience escorted by the professional expert guide and driver. The normal hiking speed is about 2.5 kilometers per hour, but can be modified according to your physical condition.

Tour Details Day 1 Sat May 5 2018 Shanghai fly to Beijing, transfer to Gubeikou, hike to Jinshanling (Lunch/Dinner) Meet at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, fly to Beijing in the early morning. Upon arrival at Beijing Int＇l airport, transfer to Gubeikou. From the airport, it takes around 2 hours, approx.120 km. 12:30 Have a lunch at local restaurant near the site. 13:30 Start to hike toward the Jinshanling Great Wall. The duration is about 8.5 km, approx 4 hours. Mineral water and banana will be supplied. Enjoy the sunset at the Jinshanling Great Wall. Gubeikou Wild Great Wall section is less traveled, raw and unrestored. Jinshanling section is an ideal place for hiking enthusiasts to test themselves against its steep gradients and to enjoy the landscape. It's is only partly restored, it's also less crowded, and it provides a unique view of the Wall, watchtowers and magnificent scenery. 18:30 dinner at the local restaurant near the Great Wall 19:30 Transfer to your hotel near the Jiankou Wild Great Wall. 105 km. approx. 1.5 hours 21:00 Upon arrival, hotel check in.

Day 2 Sun May 6 2018 Hike from the Jiankou Wild Great Wall to the restored Mutianyu Great Wall, transfer to airport, fly back to Shanghai (Breakfast/lunch)

07:30-07:45 check out 08:00 hotel breakfast 08:20 Depart to Xizhazi village where the hiking tour begins today. 09:20 Hike from the Jiankou wild Great Wall to the Mutianyu restored Great Wall. is about 4-5 hrs, approx. 8.5 km. Built along the rolling ridgeline, the hoary walls and the verdant vegetation set each other off, offering graceful scenery. Mineral water and banana will be supplied. From the Mutianyu Great Wall, you will take the cable car or Speed Slide down the hill. 13:30 Lunch will be at the local restaurant, Mutianyu Great Wall.
