Non-Compliance with the 2019 Application Process

As communicated in Circular 18/10, a number of Clubs that applied for participation in the Football NSW Competitions were not fully complaint with the 2019 Application Process by the stipulated deadlines. As a result, the prescribed sanctions, communicated to Clubs in advance, were applied. Those sanctions ranged from fines to the loss of Club Championship points.

A number of those clubs remained non-complaint at the time the Leagues were declared on 26 September 2018 and were granted conditional entry into the Competitions subject to becoming fully compliant by 5.00pm on Wednesday, 31 October 2018. We advise that those clubs did become fully compliant by the deadline and, on Wednesday, 14 November 2018, the Board confirmed their entry into the Competitions.

Clubs are advised that the entry of all Clubs into the 2019 FNSW Competitions is subject to the execution of the Participation Agreement by Football NSW (as per clause 2.1 of the Participation Agreement).
