WELCOME TO CORHAMPTON GOLF CLUB

Founded in 1891 and situated 10 miles south of in southern , Corhampton Golf Club is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, enjoying stunning views across hills, valleys and woodlands. The course plays 6398 yards off white tees, 6088 off yellows and 5800 off reds. A combination of natural contours, mature woodland and artfully placed bunkers provides a test for low and higher handicappers alike. We are proud of our reputation as a friendly and welcoming club and visiting golfers can expect a warm welcome in our spacious clubhouse, where a well-stocked bar and first-class home-cooked food provide a perfect accompaniment to your round of golf. We also have Spooners halfway hut which provides hot and cold drinks, food and confectionary all year round. The course and its facilities are available to visitors from Monday to Friday throughout the year. We very much look forward to welcoming you to Corhampton for what we are sure will be a memorable visit.

Societies and visitors are very welcome to play the challenging 18-hole course.

Our Secretary will be on hand to ensure that your day goes as smoothly as possible and will be pleased to help with the planning of your day.

Our Professional, Ian Roper and his staff have a well-stocked shop offering a wide range of golfing products, and it is also possible to purchase golf lesson vouchers - an ideal booby prize! Prizes can be ordered from the shop either in advance or chosen on the day.

There is an extensive 420-yard, par 4 practice area available and Ian can offer coaching lessons across the board from intensive instruction to gentle fine tuning of your individual game. This service is available to all.

We can run competitions including ‘longest drive’ and ‘nearest the pin’ at no extra cost.

We pride ourselves on the personal and individual tailor-made service we can provide.

Some of our most popular menus are enclosed, however the most important thing to remember is that your day is enjoyable, and the choice is yours, anything from just a coffee to a full English breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you have any special dietary requirements, then please do not hesitate to ask. This will enable us to ensure your day goes smoothly and your meal is served at its best. Be assured though that if minor changes are needed at short notice, we will do our utmost to comply with your needs.

PLEASE NOTE. GROUPS EATING AFTER 6PM MUST BE AT LEAST 12 IN NUMBER. FINAL NUMBERS MUST BE CONFIRMED 48HRS BEFORE EVENT AND WILL BE INVOICED ACCORDINGLY. All bookings are subject to our terms & conditions as shown on the booking form.

Members & Visitors Dress Code CORHAMPTON GOLF CLUB - DRESS RULES

To maintain the standard of dress at Corhampton Golf Club the Management Committee have laid down the following rules. To save embarrassment to members, visitors and to the staff of the golf club, please ensure that these rules are adhered to whilst visiting the golf club.

On the Course

Conventional golf wear. Shirts may be either sleeveless with collar or collarless with sleeves. No tee shirts or vest type tops. Only Tailored shorts are acceptable. No jogging shorts. Golf shoes must be worn when playing golf. Socks must be worn (sports socks or shoe socks of any colour are acceptable). Headwear must not be worn sideways or back to front.

In the club house

Conventional golf wear as above – hats must not be worn. Smart casual dress, clean, tailored jeans may be worn but jeans with slits or holes are not allowed. Cargo type trousers, Track Suits / Leisure Suits are not permitted. For all formal occasions including dinner, match meals and social events members are expected to change out of golf wear – unless a notice is posted to the contrary.

Terms & Conditions for Society Bookings

1. A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required to confirm your booking. 2. Provisional bookings are held for 14 days, after which time they may be offered to another visiting party. 3. Deposits are deductible from the final invoice but will be forfeited in the event of cancellation within three months of the event unless a replacement can be booked by the club 4. All details, including number of golfers, must be confirmed no later than 48 hours before the event. No shows on the day will be charged at full rate. 5. Dinner after 6pm will be for a minimum of 12 persons. 6. Society bookings are not accepted for less than 8 players and this number will be charged for as the minimum at all times. 7. The balance of all fees should be paid to the office before the final round of golf on the day of the event. Payment would be preferred by debit card or BACS but cash will also be accepted. 8. All players should possess an official club or society handicap. 9. Corhampton members taking part in golf days are excluded from paying green fees but have to pay the full catering element of the society fee. The entitlement to introduce guests at reduced rates does not apply to society bookings of any nature. 10. Mobile phones can be used to access the Internet or Apps, but it is requested that calls are not made in the clubhouse or on the course, except in an emergency 11. Our dress code & golf etiquette must be adhered to at all times. If in doubt – PLEASE ASK 12. On arrival, the organiser of your party should report to the office, who will liaise with you on behalf of Corhampton Golf Club.

Directions to Corhampton Golf Club

From the West A31 M27 Leave at Junction 7 Hedge End (Marks & Spencers) Follow signs to Botley (A334) Continue through Botley, follow signs to Bishops Waltham (B3035) At Bishops Waltham 1st roundabout take 1st exit, pass garage on right. At 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit, signposted Corhampton. Continue for approx 3 miles. Golf Club sign in hedge on RHS ‘Next turn right’ Turn right into Shepherds Farm Lane at top of hill. Golf club entrance is on the right.

From the North M3 leave at Junction 9. Follow A272 Spitfire Link, straight over Spitfire roundabout onto A31 St Catherines Way. Turn left before next roundabout onto Road. signposted Corhampton Follow this road for approximately 9 miles. It changes to Belmore Lane and Corhampton Lane. At the end of Corhampton Lane take left turn and then 1st right into Shepherds Farm Lane. Golf Club entrance is on the right.

From the South East Leave M27 at Junction 10 Follow the A32 signposted Wickham/Alton. At Wickham roundabout take second exit signposted Alton/ Continue for approx 5 miles through Droxford. At next roundabout turn left, signposted Bishops Waltham(B3035). Continue up the hill and take 1st left turn. Golf Club entrance is on the right.

From London A3 to Guildford Bear left onto A31 towards Farnham At Farnham roundabout keep left on A31 signposted Alton After by passing Alton, at the next roundabout take 1st left exit signposted A32 Fareham. Continue along this road for approx 12 miles, straight through traffic lights; turn right at next roundabout signposted Bishops Waltham (B3035). Continue up the hill and take 1st left turn. Golf Club entrance is on the right.
