75 MOSLEY ST, MANCHESTER Works are due to complete early 2018
OVERVIEW
Planning consent has been obtained for a comprehensive redevelopment of 75 Mosley Street.
Works have already started on site to bring these two buildings together to provide over 60,000 sq ft of new office accommodation with approx. 8,000 sq ft of leisure accommodation at ground floor and basement level. POSITION
75 Mosley Street occupies a very prominent corner position on the junction of Mosley Street and Nicholas Street, just up from St.Peter’s Square, in the heart of Manchester’s commercial district. Hyphen sits directly opposite the beautiful Manchester Art Gallery, which welcomes over half a million visitors each year, and just up from St Peter’s Square.
St Peter’s Square has recently undergone a huge transformation to provide a new and improved Metrolink stop and public square. LOCATION The square is home to the Manchester Town Hall, the Central Library and The Midland Hotel and more recently to two new office buildings; One and Two St Peter’s Square.
The two buildings (once complete) will provide approximately 450,000 sq ft of office accommodation with the ground floors let to San Carlo’s ‘Fumo’ brand, Drake and Morgan and Wagamama. St.Peter’s Square CONNECTION
The revamped St Peter’s Square Metrolink stop is a key element of the new Second City Crossing and will mean more trams can travel through the city.
It will also improve links out to the north, as well as out to the south of the city. In addition to the new Metrolink stop, the site offers other excellent public transport links with Piccadilly Gardens Bus/ Metrolink stop and Piccadilly Train Station nearby.
