About the 3rd Street & Project Broadway Streetscape Exciting improvements are coming to 3rd Street and Broadway! Westbound Project 3rd Street and Eastbound Broadway will be resurfaced and reconfigured from Golden Avenue to Alamitos BETWEEN GOLDEN AVENUE Avenue to create a more pedestrian & ALAMITOS AVENUE and bike-friendly streetscape. Examples of improvements include relocation of protected bike lanes Long Beach Public Works to right side of the street to allow 333 W. Persons Involved Mr. Gregory Beaudet was 22 years-old, homeless and was armed with an eight-inch knife with a four-inch double edged blade. Officer Jared Wilson was in full uniform and assigned to bicycle patrol duties in Central Division. He was armed with a Heckler & Kock .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. Background Shortly before midnight on Thursday, August 27,2009, Mr. Beaudet along with two other men entered the Ralphs Grocery Store at 101 G Street in San Diego. The first man stole a bottle of liquor, ran from the store and eluded capture. For far too long, Black artists, theatre makers and technicians in all areas of our industry have been subjected to systemic and interpersonal racism that has harmed their lives and careers and diminished us all. 1 From March 2021 through August 2021, we, leaders in the Broadway theatre industry, participated in a summit organized by Black Theatre United. In five working groups consisting of theatre owners, producers, unions, and two groups of creatives (one with directors, choreographers, music directors, and designers; and another with casting directors, composers, and playwrights), we discussed how to reform our industry across issues of equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging (EDIAB) with a focus on Black professionals.
