9 Prayer for Peace and Purpose Leader: As our work for the year comes to a close, we come together and unite our hearts and hands in prayer. We reflect on the tasks that we have completed and the tasks on which we have made progress, and we are aware that nothing has been accomplished without God’s help and His direction. We pray for a fruitful summer hiatus. We pray for the joy and the peacefulness that comes from knowing that God is with us in our rest as well as in our activity.
