Water from the Rivelin Valley once powered the local steel and cutlery industries. Waterfalls, dams and other remnants of this history dot these running routes, in a beautiful area that’s now been reclaimed by nature. The main start for all routes is from the Rivelin Park Cafe and the green route follows the river along good paths. Take care crossing Rivelin Valley Road as you continue upriver on the blue route. This more challenging route climbs steeply up the side of the valley. Great for walkers and runners, everyone can find their own pace on these popular trails. Back at the start, enjoy a coffee and cake at Rivelin Park Cafe. DISTANCE 100m Deer Park Road ▲ N
