BOLD 3005 Lord and Land (2 or 3) This course examines the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible, introducing students to relevant historical, geographical, and cultural backgrounds, Old Testament theology, biblical exegesis, and applications to contemporary contexts. This course is offered to sophomore students in study abroad (IP) programs for 2 credit hours and replaces either BOLD 2010 or BOLD 2030 in the liberal arts core. August 2021 HULA Students may take this course for 2 or 3 credit hours (even if they have already received credit for BOLD 2010 or BOLD 2030). Application Fee due at time of application and refundable up until the $3,000 travel payment is due on June 15. If the program is cancelled before or after this date, students will receive a refund of all fees paid.

Travel Payment due June 15 includes prepayment for required deposits associated with reservations during your program, as well as roundtrip airfare from your home city. All travel arrangements are made by the International Programs office.

Final Payment due August 2 includes tuition for 2 or 3 hours (based on your Bible credit hours choice), room and board, program fee, tech fee, transportation, accommodation, local travel, tour guides, museums and art galleries, facility cleaning, and linen/laundry.

All courses will be offered in an August 1-20 part of term, permitting students to access fall financial aid and providing Bible course options for the fall 2021 semester that will be useful to students in any major. Students who enroll in one of these programs, and a Bible course in Searcy during the fall 2021 semester, will not receive two semesters of Bible credit.
