© 1969 - 2012 Visu-Whirl, LLC Urban Street Tales had its beginnings in a relationship forged between the fantastic Aleem brothers and the late rock icon Jimi Hendrix. Prior to Hendrix’s death, they began the idea of producing musical vignettes for the group called GhettoFighters. After Hendrix’s death, the Aleems continued developing street tales and music in audio story form much like 40’s and early 50’s radio.

© 1969 - 2012 Visu-Whirl, LLC The Urban Street Tale series is based on the Aleems’ early Harlem adventures. Seven episodes to date, each is produced and voiced by the Aleems. Among the tales are two reenacted classic episodes of legendary guitar god Jimi Hendrix and his friends, the Allen Twins (now The Aleems). These two true stories focus on Jimi’s Harlem adventures. “Sugar Daddy” is an episode that debuts previously unheard original music featuring Jimi Hendrix on guitar with Buddy Miles and the GhettoFighters on vocals. “Mojo Man,” the song made its debut on Jimi Hendrix's latest hit album titled " People, Hell and Angels" and was made into an UST. "Mojo Man" UST was also made into a visual animated UST as a possible visual prototype for UST in the future. The Aleems met with Warner Brothers “Watchman” motion comic animator, Jake Hughes, who helped to add the visual street edge that best suited their prototype audio/musical street tale, "Mojo Man"

© 1969 - 2012 Visu-Whirl, LLC The Music Urban Street Tales uses a wide genre of music to accentuate its stories.
