La Conner 8th grader Arjuna Adams said, “She’s awesome, she’s an amazing student teacher, and I hope she comes back to La Conner after she graduates.” Ms. Boldrin enjoys teaching history and language arts because she loves writing and learning about other cultures. In her spare time, Ms. Boldrin loves to run. She recently ran a half marathon. She also likes to play the guitar, sometimes writing new lyrics to songs. The La Conner Middle School 7th and 8th grade teams are off to a great start. Both teams are currently undefeated. The teams have defeated Concrete, Mount Vernon Christian, and Friday Harbor. Seventh grade team members are Tori Lockrem, Kaylanna Guerrero- Gobert, AnnaJane Thulen, Katie Watkins, Maya Masonholder, Maya Medeiros, Isabelle Williams, Avery Sloniker, Kayla Rasler, Justice Morgan and Sarah Malcomson. Eighth grade team members are Krista Bailey, Morgan Sidzyik, Riley Brooks, Riley Banaszak, Jayden Moberg-Lewis, Roxy Orkney, Mary Lou Page, Yareli Lopez and Logan Lowry. Aubrie Sloniker is the team manager. The teams are coached by Aly Sehlin, who played on our 2002 La Conner High School state championship team and Candice Pedroza, who played high school volleyball at La Conner and then at Saint Martin’s University. Go Braves!

The La Conner Middle School Coed Soccer team has played three games so far this season. The team’s record is two wins and one loss. The Braves have beaten Lopez, Mount Vernon Christian and lost to Lucille Umbarger. Team members this year are 7th graders Ketelina O’Brien, Bridger Tautvydas, Alden Schnabel, Andre Knudson, Will Southard, James Carlton and Luke Lowry. Eighth graders playing are Addie Reinstra, Ari Betts, Serrana Chilcote, Gavin Brown, Natalie Holt, Trey Casey, Troy Sampson, Lark Lewis, Preston Rivas, Preston Haberly and Ian Heart-Broker. The team manager is Rylan Leonhardt. The team is coached by Mr. Hunter. Go Braves!
