There is also a children’s play area which includes a zip wire, this is an ideal park for picnics and family days out. This is an historic area of Sharnford with the original Fosseway Roman Road running adjacent to Fosse Meadows. This leads to Highcross, which is the centre point of old Roman . On Roman Road site parking and toilet are available. Lecterns with further information are located throughout the site.
