© GS1 China 2015 26 Collaboration with RAIN RFID

 Leveraging a growing relationship with the RAIN RFID Alliance community to drive business needs into GS1 for ongoing maintenance and support of the standards that we maintain (Tag Data Standard, EPCIS, CBV).

 Closer collaboration will create opportunities to grow RAIN membership and GS1 membership around the world, as a result of increased exposure…and it should result in a broader deployment of GS1 Identity and a chance for everyone in this room to reduce costs, create better experiences and sell more stuff.

• From GS1’s perspective, we’ll be more broadly sharing our work on: EPCIS, Web URI identifiers, Blockchain, Consumer IoT, Registries of identifiers, Identity Authentication Solutions and so on.
