 Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms of accelerated cardiovascular in diabetes. Mechanisms of hyperglycemia- and oxidant stress-induced differential gene expression by gene arrays. Genomics and Proteomics. siRNAs and MicroRNAs in monocytes.

 Role of advanced glycation/ lipoxidation end products. Gene Regulation, Gene Transcription, Transcription Factors (NF-kB, CREB etc), Promoter analyses, Co-activators, Co-repressors. In vivo gene transcription mechanisms, chromatin remodeling. Post- translational regulation (mRNA stability).
