ACTIVITY SUMMARY

Pupils will use local cricket statistics from the Airedale and Wharfedale Senior Cricket League (AWS Cricket League) to plot line graphs and then to solve comparison, sum and difference problems using information presented in the line graph.

What is a wicket? The wicket is made up of the 3 stumps with two bails balanced on top. When a wicket is ‘taken’ it means that a member of the team knocked the bails off the stumps and the batsman is then out.
