1. INTRODUCTION
Coahuila is the third largest state in the country. Located in the North-East part of Mexico, Coahuila shares a 512 kilometer with the American State of Texas. In Mexico is next to the Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi and Nuevo Leon States.

It represents 7.73% of the surface of the country. It has a population of 2’954,915 inhabitants; the 2.5% of the country’s total, the distribution is 90% urban and 10% rural. The schooling is 9.9 (almost first year of upper secondary education), a national average of 9.2 The activities of the sector that contribute the most to the state’s GDP are the manufacturing industries, highlighting the production of machinery and equipment. Finally, it brings the 3.4% to the national’s GDP.

Coahuila has 38 municipalities, which are grouped in the five regions according to their economic characteristics and geographic location.
The South-East Region is made up of the municipalities of Arteaga, General Cepeda, Parras de la Fuente, Ramos Arizpe and Saltillo. It is characterized as an industrial development pole oriented to exports, due to the fact that it has an important manufacturing plants for auto parts and assembly of automobiles; besides the development of wind energy.

4. TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE
4.1 Airports
"Plan de Guadalupe" International Airport is located on the road to Saltillo - Monterrey km. 13.5 in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe; He has a domestic flight to the city of Mexico, 6 days a week.
This airport has a capacity of 200 passengers and also services of modules for airlines, waiting rooms and boarding, rental cars, taxis and cafeteria; In addition to service private aircraft, air transport of freight and customs brokers..

In addition there are channels of communication between the municipalities of the Region.
4.3 Railroad
The Southeast Region has railway stations in the municipalities of General Cepeda, Saltillo and Ramos Arizpe. The stations are connected to the national railway network, thus having access to borders, ports and major cities of the country.
In the municipalities of General Cepeda and Saltillo service is provided by private companies Ferrocarril Mexicano (Ferromex) and Kansas City Southern de Mexico (KCSM), this last one offers the service in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe.

Arteaga, Coahuila.
Picturesque town of great historical importance, where you can admire buildings such as La Parroquia de San Isidro Labrador, La Casa Cuartel Venustiano Carranza and the Municipal Hall. The Sierra de Arteaga, in any season, is the symbolic appeal of this municipality, however the landscape that offers visitors during the winter season has placed it as "the Switzerland of Mexico".
In 2012, after the management of the magical town Committee, State, and municipal authorities as well as the evaluation of the Federal Ministry of tourism, Arteaga received the name of “Pueblo Mágico”. Promoting tourism development in the municipality, as well as improvement in the quality of life of the citizens.

Parras de la Fuente was the first city in the North of Mexico declared a "Pueblo Mágico" in 2005. Outstands its religious architecture, public spaces, wine regions, aqueducts, ponds, and spas, as well as areas such as the Canon of Lima and the Sierra de Parras, which represent a series of attractions of interest to visitors of this magical town.
