Objective(s) • To know the updates of reconstruction by visiting the private houses. • Identify the issues and challenges facing at the field level, identify and help correct prevalent non-complaint issues. • To conduct Palika level coordination meetings.

Summary Day 1 (7-May-2019): Visited Bhotekoshi RM and conducted Level Coordination Meeting: • The grievance settlement has been the most pressing issue in the RM. The list provided by the NRA to the field engineers does not contain the names of all the beneficiaries recommended by the ward level because of which the elected representatives has faced immense pressure. The RM has made the decision to make the field engineers resurvey all the HHS recommended by the ward level. • The presence of the engineers is poor. The decision was made in the meeting that stringent measures would be taken from now on if the engineers are found to have been absent from the duty area. • The decision was made that the CS entry backlog of the RM should be completed by the engineers by the end of Baishak. If this is not done, the Chief Administration Officer made it clear that he would not recommend the engineers’ attendance.
