7* GERMAN Integration The plan for integration of GERMAN personnel into the staff and support elements of DECLASSIFIED the FONTAINEBLEAU Headquarters and 4 ATAP was approved by SHAPE and the nations concerned* The integration was planned so as to be carried out over a period of three years (1958-60) and is being put into effect with no major problem arising* (9)

Subjects DISCLOSED 12* War Headquarters - General a* Policy : To provide a firm basis for planning a policy paper on War Headquarters PUBLICLY was drafted and submitted through the CPQG for approval by the Chiefs of Staff - Committee. The approved paper was issued by the Chiefs of Staff as Policy Paper No. 3. ;o b* Status of Peace and Var Headquarters t Resulting from a request by SHAPE a study DECLASSIFIED was raade into the status and readiness of ^eace and Var Headquarters in Central Europe. In a preparatory conference between representatives of the 4 Head quarters a priority list of projects was fixed. It contained first those items which had DISCLOSED been started in former slices and had to be completed. The Chief of the Infrastructure Division had to organise and to Chair Working Group No. 2. The mission was to examine the build up of a depot East of the RHINE-IJSSEL line.
