Top artists to perform in landmark fundraising concert — One Night Live TM

Toronto, On. (November 21, 2007) – Four leading international music artists – , , Sarah McLachlan and Jann Arden – will perform at One Night Live TM , a first-of-its-kind fundraising event for Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

One Night Live TM will take place at the Air Canada Centre on February 28, 2008. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $89 and can be purchased at www.onenightlive.ca or through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or 416-870-8000. The concert will benefit the construction of Sunnybrook’s two new floors for births, high-risk pregnancies and critically-ill newborns.

The construction project, now in full swing at Sunnybrook’s Bayview Avenue Campus, will be ready to care for women and babies in 2010. Designed with input from women and their families, as well as their caregivers, the expansion will accommodate 4,250 annual births and house a leading-edge neonatal intensive care unit that will care for one in every five babies born in Ontario who weigh less than three pounds.
