Saturday evening saw the annual Presentation Evening at Belvedere Golf club the winners on Photos; Tom Fynn, the evening were:- Runners runner - male Martin Hutchinson Dave Gowans, John Most improved male runner, Martin Hutchinson Potter and Bob Eyre - Runners runner female - Dominique Nicole Most improved female runner (2 winners), Ellis Hodges plus sundry BRR club and Liz Stevenson members - thanks to Club person of the year, Robert Eyre Coach of the year, Linda Hall everyone. Inspiration award, Nicola Fowler Special recognition award to Leigh for his 18 years work with the juniors. Winter league winner Male: Tom Fynn Winter league winner Female : Susan Reece Champagne moment, Andy Godfrey for losing his shorts at Parkrun. He wore a belt last night. The John Potter award went deservedly to Josh Taylor. This award is presented by John, BRR's founding fa- ther. He used to be a member (even male captain of East Hull Harriers), who went knocking on doors to get Brid Road Runners off the ground in 1983. A good evening was had by all.

12th March On Thursday evening, Phill Taylor and Mollie Holehouse were flying the flag for Bridlington at the second race in the York 5k Series. In blustery conditions, Taylor took seventh spot in 17:13 and Holehouse was 60th overall in 21 minutes exactly. 13th March It was a good week for Josh Taylor, who won Sewerby Parkrun on Saturday morning, having set a new 10km personal best at the See York Run York event on Friday evening. He took almost half- a-minute off his previous best over the distance, finishing second in 35:55. Di Raper also ran at the event, finishing 57th in 1:00:21. Brid RR on Tour 14th March Back at Sewerby Parkrun, there were a number of im- pressive performances behind Josh Taylor's win. Nick Jordan was third, Alan Feldberg sixth, Bill Pike eighth and Mollie Holehouse 11th overall and first female. Jun- ior member William McNulty was the only club member to record a PB, as he finished 70th in 27:30.

On their travels, Adam Thomas (19:26) set a personal best as he finished sixth at Dalby Forest Parkrun, while James Briggs (18:48) was third at the Potternew- ton event in Leeds. At Bushy Parkrun: 80 Phillip Bear- man 20:48

15th March Sunday saw eight members of the club in action at the Dalton Dash, a 10k road race on a private estate on the edge of the . Scott Hargreaves led the way home, fourth overall in 35:43. Allan McFarlane was next, 65th in 45:21, followed by Gerard Ferre (54:23) and Stuart Bowes (56:24). Sharon Bowes was the first Bridlington lady, 301st in 1:01:25, then came Robert Calthorpe and Linda Hall, who finished together in 1:12:57, and Tina Calthorpe completed the team in 1:21:57.

A trio of Bridlington runners tackled the Thirsk 10 Mile route on Sunday. Tom Mullen missed out on beating the hour mark by an agonising two seconds as he finished in 52nd place. Sam Alexander ran strongly to record a time of 1:10:19 and Lyn Gent clocked 1:36:38. Club Discounts
