isters and Associates: The people of Trinidad, Colorado are preparing to celebrate the dedication of the Sister Blandina Gardens. Located on Commercial Street, the spiritual garden will honor our own S. Blandina who lived in Trinidad and Swas instrumental in Trinidad’s transition from the lawlessness of the West as well as the founding of School District No. 1 in the state of Colorado. The Sister Blandina Gardens will have a water feature that will serve as a center for gatherings with a fire pit and waterfall, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. In addition a memorial naming each of the 444 Sisters of Charity who served in the Trinidad area will be located within the gardens. The dedication will be an all-day event and held on Sunday, July 18 in the gardens. It will begin with Mass. Livestreaming will be available throughout the day, and as the event nears, we will be able to share that information with you.
