NOVEMBER UNIFORM PRICE $4.24

Dairy farmers who delivered Port Wayne Grade "A" milk to handlers subject to the Fort Wayne Milk Order during November i960, will receive a mini- mum uniform price of $4.24 per hundredweight for milk testing 3,5%. A butterfat differential of 7.1 cents for each one- tenth of one percent that individual tests vary above or below the 3.5% standard will be used. This minimum price is subject to a 4 cent per hundredweight marketing service deduction and auth- orized hauling charges. The computation of the minimum blend price is shown on page 4 and the class prices on page 3.

The $4.24 price for , is 33 cents under the November 1959 price. It is 9 cents above the price.

PRODUCTION AND UTILIZATION

Approved producers shipped 9,325,637 pounds of milk to the Fort

Wa3me market during November 1960, of which 6,274,145 pounds or 67.37o was utilized in Class I. Production was down 4.3% from October 1960, but up 25.7% from a year ago in November. Class I utilization of producer milk was up 0.7% from October 1960, and up 15.8% from November 1959.

There were 862 producers on the market for November 1960, which is 13 more than October 1960, and 62 more than in November a year ago. Average production per farm per day was 361 pounds for November 1960. Daily farm pro- duction for October 1960, and November 1959, was 370 pounds and 309 pounds, respectively. Other comparable market statistics will be found on pages 2 and 3.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSESSMENT RATE

Effective with the milk deliveries, the administra- tive assessment rate will be 2 cents per hundredweight. This is a decrease of 2 cents per hiindredweight from the rate that has been in effect since March 1559. ' . , :.yv'
