Woodstock Country Club was founded in 1895 and is recognized as one of the oldest courses in the state of Vermont. Both William Henry Tucker and Wayne Stiles designed different courses in Woodstock’s early years. The present layout opened for play in 1963 and is designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The challenging 18-hole layout is short by modern standards, though has withstood the test of time and is a favorite among the Vermont golfing community. Woodstock is the former home of Keegan Bradley, and is where he learned the game as a junior. Keegan and his friends return to Woodstock each summer to host the annual Keegan Bradley Charity Classic. This past August, Keegan was joined by fellow PGA Tour players and Jamie Lovemark. The Woodstock Country Club is owned and operated by the Woodstock Inn & Resort. Nestled in Vermont’s Green Mountains, the Woodstock Inn & Resort is a four-season gateway to New England’s heritage and personalized hospitality. Established by Laurance and Mary Rockefeller, today’s Inn features fine craftsmanship accented with elegant, artisanal amenities that reflect our authentic Vermont style and service. Resort employees have access to all the resorts amenities including restaurants, spa, Athletic Club, golf course and Suicide Six Ski area. https://www.woodstockinn.com
