A college cannot buy its spirit as it buys textbooks, nor can it have this spirit

supplied as basic equipment. College spirit is built up within the college itself. The first

leaders of the college and the first students play a vitally important part in so

organizing their actions, thoughts and aspirations that a college spirit emerges. Not all

of you have the same talents and so each of you will achieve differently. All that is

asked of you is that you will do your best.
