The bravery and utmost perseverance of all operating troops since September 29, 2011 up to October 17, 2011 have contributed to the general success of Rescue, Retrieval and Relief operations which resulted in the safe evacuation of more than Three Thousand (3,000) residents of the Municipality of San Simon, Pampanga.

MAYOR LEONORA C WONG has funded the training of San Simon Traffic Enforcers conducted by Chief of Police and the Land Transportation Office. • Conducted Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign. Project entitled “KAYABE”, Kayanakan Yaman ning Balen at Ehemplu Laban Queng Droga (Tagalog translation: Kabataan Yaman ng Bayan at Ehemplo Laban sa Droga) is being carried out by this Office to address the drug menace in San Simon, Pampanga conducted on December 16-18, 2012 at Brgy. It can also improve the delivery of Public Safety Services within AOR and aims to sustain and enhance the campaigns or projects being started and to integrate same with the new initiatives. • CARNAPPING

• Intensify information gathering in order to identify/ neutralize all personalities suspected involved in carnapping;

• Conduct dialogue with Proprietors/managers/owners of business establishment focusing on precautionary measures in dealing with the carnapping problems which might happened in their respective area;

• Awareness and public information and dissemination re safety precautions and modus operandi of criminal personalities involved in said crime;

55 • ROBBERY • Constant coordination with Officials, Bantay Bayans and other force multipliers to pre-empt any criminal activities in their respective Barangays.

• Arrest all known/identified criminals, maintain crime files on each person, conduct counter intelligence and casing operation to neutralize robbery/hold-up group.

• Maximize Police Visibility/Beat and mobile patrolling at identified hazard areas where said criminal elements/robbers will strike;

56 • ILLEGAL DRUGS • Reactivation of Barangay Anti-Drug Abused Council (BADAC) to serve as the primary link to the community in the fight against illegal drugs; • In coordination with the Local Government Units (LGU’s), undertake trainings/seminars that will enhance the capabilities of BADAC members to enable them to efficiently and effectively respond to their mandated tasks;

• Harness our Brgy Peacekeeping Action Desk as “one stop shop” for the processing of petition for voluntary rehabilitation; • Identify the drug affected house clusters and undertake clearing/negation operations;

• Religiously implement “Police Integrated Patrol System”

• Conduct pulong-pulongs to DT affected barangays once a week; If there is any and Strengthen Barangay Intelligence Network (BIN) thru the active participation of the populace particularly within the identified lairs/strongholds of DT`s. If there is any.
