Westonzoyland Parish Council have told us that there are two preferred PROJECT PLAN sites worthy of further investigation. These sites are:

Stage 1: Understanding Local Affordable Housing Need
Stage 2: Find, Agree and Secure a Suitable Site
Stage 3: Initial Local Awareness and Consultation Event
Stage 4: Identify Development Partners
Stage 5: Designing the Housing Project
Stage 6: Agree and Secure Funding and TCPA Planning Permission
Stage 7: Construction Phase PROJECT PLAN Stage 8: Occupation Stage LINEY ROAD - KEY PROPOSALS
Current development proposals up to 45 new homes
Mixed tenure site including affordable housing (AH) and open market homes
Profit from sale of market homes will pay for the AH homes
Minimum of 18 AH Homes - 40% of the overall development
AH would be integrated with the open market homes
The AH units will be provided free from public sector investment
AH will be undistinguishable in appearance and spec from market homes
All the new homes will achieve the highest standards of energy efficiency
