• College and Bathurst intersection - managed by City – track reconstruction and streetcar platform retrofit – June* to July* 2016 *TBC (full closure required for shorter duration)

• College/Bay intersection area - scheduled from July 11 to July 18, 2016 – removal of the two existing streetcar passenger platforms on either side of the intersection

Overview:

• Program to make all stations accessible to people with disabilities

• New elevators, sliding doors, fare-gates, signage improvements

• All stations accessible by 2025

• 34 stations are currently accessible

• Ossington, St Clair West, Woodbine and Coxwell stations under construction

• Dupont and St Patrick stations starting in 2016

• Royal York Station to begin in 2016, scheduled completion in 2019

• Most subway stations have more than one exit

• All new TTC stations are built with at least two exits

• Next Scheduled Closures for 2015 • Bloor-Danforth line - St George to Keele: November 21-22 and December 5-6

• Planned Closures for early 2016

• Feb 27/28, Mar 5/6, 19/20 – St George to Lawrence W • Mar 12/13, 26/27 – Lawrence to Bloor • Most weekends in 2016 will require subway closures to replace 60 year old signal system on YUS line (Line 1)
