HIGHLIGHTS

Flooding occurred in Gorontalo province, covering five districts / cities, namely Gorontalo district, city of Gorontalo, North Gorontalo, Boalemo and Bone Bolango. 5903 families or 18 022 inhabitants were affected by floods. 1 18.022 Flooding in Gorontalo district occurred since Tuesday, October 25, 2016, and affects people 15. 959 people. affected 3 people died in floods that occurred again in Gorontalo district on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Local governments, BPBDs and humanitarian agencies have been distributing aid to people affected by floods. 5 district in Gorontalo Province affected

Flash floods hit five districts / cities in the province of Gorontalo, namely Gorontalo district, city of Gorontalo , North Gorontalo District, Boalemo district, and Bone Bolango.

In North Gorontalo District, flooding affects five villages in the district of East Sumalata and Suwawa. While in the district of Boalemo, a flash flood swept Harapan village with 300 homes affected, Dulohupa village of 75 houses and 90 houses in Sukamaju village. Flood victims in Karya Murni and Girisa villages, District Panguyaman evacuated up the hills. And in Bone Bolango, flooding occurred along the river in the district of North Bulango covering Tupa Village, Kopi Village and Lomaya Village.

victims affected by the floods reached 15 959 person / 4791 SULAWESII TENGAH families of 31 villages. Number of affected most numerous in the District Limboto, 5505 people, District Baliyohuto, 1,480 GORONTALO GORONTALO NORTHUTA SULARA WESI PAHUWATO people and District Bilato, 1,372 inhabitants. Currently in BOALEMO KOTA GORONTALO BONE some districts had receded, leaving only the District BOLANGO Boliyohuto, Bilato and Asparaga are still flooded quite high. On Sunday, October 30, 2016, flooding occurred again in Hutuo Village, District Limboto, Gorontalo . Natural disasters that caused three people died.

BPBD Gorontalo supply of and instant food to the location of flooding that's already receeded, and the region flood area that still covered by floods, has distributed fast food, clean water, medicine, cloths, blankets and other logistics. The regional government, military, police, BNPP, Tagana and Dompet Dhuafa assist emergency response and fulfillment in the evacuation.
