Comments from the CDNLAO Webmaster on the Website and Newsletter

The National Diet Library (NDL) of Japan, on behalf of the members of the Conference of Directors of National Libraries in Asia and Oceania (CDNLAO), manages the CDNLAO Website (http://www.ndl.g o.jp/en/cdnlao/) and the CDNLAO Newsletter (http://www.ndl.go.jp/en/cdnlao/newsletter/).

1. CDNLAO Website  Information on annual meetings is carried on the website.  In May 2015, we published an article in the CDNLAO Newsletter entitled “Collection of links to websites/SNS of the CDNLAO community” (Attachment 1). We would like to make a new page on the CDNLAO Website to keep this information up to date. Please let us know when there is a change to the information listed in the article including the URL, as well as when you start a new Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, or similar services.

2. CDNLAO Newsletter  The CDNLAO Newsletter is published on the CDNLAO Website, and notification of publication is sent to CDNLAO members by email.  Please let us know:  Your email address, if you wish to receive notifications from the NDL  Your comments, especially on what topics you would like to read  If you wish to contribute an article to the Newsletter (We welcome any article that has to do with activities at your library!)  The next issue (No. 86) will feature this meeting. The deadline for contributions is April 15. Issue No. 86 will be published in May, No. 87 in December, and No. 88 next March.

3. Assignment of Editorial Correspondents  We ask that each country assign at least one editorial correspondent and let us know who it is. Countries marked in yellow in Attachment 2 currently do not have an editorial correspondent assigned.  Let’s work together to enrich the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the CDNLAO community!
