Ruppur-Chanasma, the place : Ruppur is a small village situated 2 k.m. away from Chanasma, the Taluka place. Chanasma falls in Patan district and it is on the north region of Gujarat State. Barring some industrial zone, the major population of town which represents almost all the communities, depends on agriculture and its produce. The Famous Sun Temple, Modhera and historical places like Rani ki Vav, Sahastra Ling Talav at Patan are very close to Chanasma.

About Us : To develop this rural areas in many respects "The Nima Memorial" Gram Vikas Trust, Ruppur-Chanasma has been established on 1st January-1983 through an active efforts of Padma Shree Dr. Karasanbhai K. Patel,(Originally belongs to Ruppur) Chairman.. Nirma limited, Founder.. Nirma University, Ahmedabad along with his able team. The Core objectives of the trust are Educational, Economical, Health & Women development and removal of evil customs, establishing communal harmony to create healthy and awakened society in this rural areas. At present we have 1705 students from more then 150 surrounding villages, studying in different disciplines. Our Institution has successfully achieved an excellent position in various fields being an inseparable part of Hem. North Gujarat University, Patan.
