Just a reminder, Donald lost $25 million in his divorce to 28 upvotes | 24 March, 2016 | by Five_Decades http://articles.baltimoresun.com/1991-03-25/features/1991084035_1_ivana-trump-donald-and-ivana-divo rce-settlement

In the end, the $14 million cash settlement came down to who gets the old Mercedes (Ms. Trump) and when $4 million gets paid to her (sooner than he wanted). In addition to a $10 million certified check that he handed over to Ms. Trump during the meeting, Mr. Trump agreed to pay her $4 million no sooner than one year and no later than two years from now, after she vacates the triplex. Ms. Trump receives $10 million, the 45-room Greenwich, Conn., mansion, a Manhattan apartment at Trump Plaza on Third Avenue, $300,000 annually in child support, $350,000 a year in alimony, and use of the Trumps' Florida mansion, Mar-a-Lago, for one month a year.

Over on TRP there are multiple posts talking about how alpha is and implying he is someone to emulate and admire. I don't agree with them on their emulation of Trump for multiple reasons but above and beyond that I don't want people to forget that when you get married, the state is the true alpha. The red pill alpha hero got divorce raped just like everyone else. It could've been worse, he could've lost billions instead of millions.

mutageno • 5 points • 24 March, 2016 02:46 PM Or Trump's billions are bullshit. He never says how much in debt he is or what's his leverage ratio.

[deleted] • 1 point • 27 March, 2016 07:54 AM He's funding his own campaign, there's no way he's in huge debt.

T0000009 • 0 points • 24 March, 2016 07:08 PM It's because there is a difference between liquid assets and fixed assets, which any decent investor fully understands. 100K in cash is not the same as 100K in property... one has almost no real value, while the other will/can gain more value independently.

T0000009 • 0 points • 24 March, 2016 07:42 PM That a balance sheet equation, basic finance stuff, not relevant to his true or real net worth, unless you are looking for an exact number which wont calculate "fame or social standing" as they are non tangible/durable assets.

Five_Decades[S] • 1 point • 24 March, 2016 10:01 PM Trump's real net worth in the early 90s was $500 million. http://gawker.com/donald-trumps-grossly-exaggerated-net-worth-a-timeline-1711718182 lostapwbm • 4 points • 24 March, 2016 04:09 AM

I don't want people to forget that when you get married, the state is the true alpha.

This is...sort of true. When people say "marriage is a contract" they are correct, but they don't ask that next question: Who are the parties to the contract? Two adults (post-Obergefell)? Close. It's between two adults AND the State. The terms of the contract are non-negotiable (ante-nuptial agreements' validity depend largely on the willingness of the judge to uphold them) and ONLY the State has the right to terminate the contract. In legal parlance, this is called an "adhesion contract."

The red pill alpha hero got divorce raped just like everyone else.

I'm not sure about this. $10 million lump sum, he presumably stopped paying CS 14 years ago when turned 18, and legally he wouldn't have to pay her once she married Riccardo Mazzucchelli in 1995, three years www.TheRedArchive.com Page 2 of 3 after they divorced. So in terms of liquid cash, he ends up paying $10 million (lump) + $1.05 million (alimony) + $3 million (child support) = $13.05 million total. For the sake of argument, let's split the baby with respect to Trump's net worth and say he's worth $5 billion. $13.05 million is not much of a haircut. Plus, I'm not unsympathetic to Ivana if it's true that Donald fucked around on her with Marla Maples while she was not playing wifey, but she was actually in charge of the , so she wasn't just some random do-nothing bitch. I know I'm an evil misogynist who hates women and all, but from my limited understanding of their relationship, Donald played her dirty. Sometimes you have to pay the cost to be Chad Thundercock.

pay the cost to be Chad

The cost is Skittles. Anything above that is larceny: Trump or Ch-umper.

BrianW1999 • 2 points • 24 March, 2016 10:36 PM Trump sucks.

[deleted] • 1 point • 24 March, 2016 05:21 PM If you look into it, she was actually doing a lot of great work for their hotels. I saw a documentary about it. She was a great business partner for him. I believe even he said so. Can anyone disprove this?

Five_Decades[S] • 1 point • 24 March, 2016 10:00 PM Donald trump was only worth about $500 million back in the early 1990s. So $25 million was 5% of his net worth. However I don't see how that makes it ok. If Bill Gates at the peak of his wealth ($100 billion) had lost $5 billion in a divorce would people be saying what a great job he did by getting married and only losing $5 billion? I'd hope not.
