Provincial Broadband SA Connect – OR Tambo DM Proposed Solution – OR Tambo by USAASA (2 x LM) • Due to the spatial density of the population and the economic power of the community, it’s proposed that the appropriate last mile access platform be a Wireless/Wi-Fi deployment creating hot spots within zones inhabited by consumers, businesses and or office/business parks. • Backhaul Infrastructure – this will be provided using Fibre up to a POP in Zimbane, Qunu and Qumbu. • Access Infrastructure – construction of Network Points to ensure broadband coverage over the 2 Municipalities.
