Ipads and computers for Complete Beginners If you have never used a computer before or only have limited computer knowledge and would like learn how to use an Ipad, including how to use the internet safely etc. This course is probably best for you to get started, it is designed to help you navigate your way around an Ipad and look at ways to help you get the most from it. Ipads are provided for you to use, but please feel free to bring your own Ipad if you have one. You will learn how to: Identify the iPad’s features and use settings to enable you to use the internet safely. Ipads for Beginners Come and learn how to use an Ipad, this course is designed to help you navigate your way around an Ipad and look at ways to help you get the most from it. Ipads are provided for you to use, but please feel free to bring your own Ipad if you have one. You will learn how to: Identify the iPad’s features and use settings, Use the on-screen keyboard efficiently, Use multi-touch gestures on the touch screen display, Manage apps and make use of Safari and iTunes, capture photos and videos by using the iPad's camera. Moving on with Ipads This course is suitable for those who have attended the ‘Ipads for Beginners’ Course or people who already have some knowledge of Ipads) you will learn the skills and confidence to gain more experience using an iPad. This includes practical tasks using Safari, accessing and downloading Apps, and efficient use of the iPad’s Settings. Use of the pre-installed Text and Video Communication Apps – FaceTime, Mail and Messages Wherever you live in Sheffield, you are also welcome to come to our Free Drop-in Computer Sessions in Heeley! .
